Today is a New Day
Access online therapy for your busy life
seasoned therapist Serving New York, Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland
I am a therapist who helps you tune into and process your feelings by going beyond the traditional talk therapy model via specific techniques such as EFT tapping, mindfulness, yoga, breathing exercises, progressive relaxation, and visualization.
If you are a woman, teen, a person who spells to communicate, parent of children with disabilities (or LGBTQIAS+ individual or couple within any of these categories) it is my pleasure to help you actualize your potential by utilizing these modalities.

Convenient video conferencing
Access quality online therapy with an experienced psychotherapist from the comfort of your own home.

Who I work with
parents of children with DISABILITIES
As a mom of a child on the Autism spectrum, I am intimately familiar with the joys and also empathetic to the struggles of parents, siblings and couples who love these children. I can help you navigate the unique grief process and challenges so that as you gain acceptance and joy of life as it is, you may be the advocate you want to be for your child and experience the joy of belonging to a network of parents with children who have disabilities.
SPELLERS
I am also the mother of a child who spells to communicate, which I believe puts me in a unique position to be a therapist to spellers. I continue my own education as a communication regulation partner to my son, taking classes offered in his spelling community, and being an avid follower of content generated by non-speakers.

women
I work with women no matter what stage of life you’re in, whether cis or trans, single or married, pregnant or menopausal.
We’ll work together to find mind-body-based coping mechanisms to help you thrive, wherever you are in life.
To the mothers I work with —
I’ve spent years working closely with mothers, but what’s surprised me—what’s brought me the greatest joy—is how deeply I’ve come to admire the ones who end up beside me in this work.
Wise, strong, and fiercely devoted, you are tireless advocates for your children and families. It is an honor to walk alongside you.
TEENS and LGBTQIAS+ community
I have many years of experience connecting to teens whom others may have found difficult to reach. Whether your teen has general adolescent angst or finds themselves in a time of crisis, I have the drive and the experience to help. It is added joy to work with those who identify as LGBTQIAS+; all are welcome.
Seek a therapist with approximately 20 years experience meeting a variety of needs within these communities, including helping individuals feel empowered to live their best lives.
