If there is one word that describes me, it’s heart-centered. Prepare to feel nurtured.

Women experience some of the same challenges as anyone else, such as anxiety and depression, but may experience them in a different way or due to specific circumstances, such as pregnancy, the postpartum period, or menopause.

To help you tune into and process your feelings, I utilize techniques such as mindfulness, yoga, breathing exercises, progressive relaxation and visualization.

I feel especially called to be a therapist to women, particularly women who:

  • have spiritual practices such as yoga, and have an interest in alternative healing.

  • feel completely and utterly stuck in their lives, relationships, careers, and/or families.

  • are postpartum and looking for a relatable therapist, rather than a parent figure.

  • are in their early 20s and feel lost, unanchored and uncertain about the future.

Some of the most frequent reasons female clients call me include:

  • Everyday life stressors

  • Learning to be more assertive

  • Interpersonal relationship issues

  • LGBTQIA issues

  • Lesbian couples

  • Codependence

  • Parenting and marital stressors

  • Mood and anxiety disorders, including prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety

  • Infertility, miscarriage and child loss

  • Other traumatic life events

I specialize in reproductive and maternal mental health, and can help you through difficult times. I have completed training for Postpartum Screening with the Seleni Institute and attended the Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders training with Postpartum Support International (PSI) and 2020 Mom Project.

Women are so busy taking care of the world that they forget to carve out time care for themselves. Our sessions are a time to tune into what you’ve been tuning out. I’m hoping during our sessions you’ll have the opportunity to feel your feelings more completely, so you can emerge empowered to navigate your challenges in a new way.
